So far the 2018 Wisconsin Spring Classic Calendar is as follows (click event name to see the individual ride Facebook event page). We will have more details for each ride as we get closer to spring. Note that some rides still link to last year’s Facebook event, but those will be updated as soon as the ride organizers create a new page.

?? Sat., April 7th, 2018 9 a.m. – Broken Spoke to Luxemburg  Road ride has been changed to a fat bike ride due to piles of white stuff!
With lots of fresh snow and awesome volunteer groomers, George and the crew from Broken Spoke are going to change the road ride into one last ride on groomed fat bike trails at Reforestation Camp. So roll your fatty up to Suamico and meet them at the trails.
Join George and crew for another great ride to Luxemburg! We’ll be departing from the shop at 9:00am and riding a route to Luxemburg, WI and back. Approximately 62miles. We will be stopping at Don’s Bakery for a treat and break. All riders welcome. The ride is mainly country roads. All road bike or gravel bike suggested. Two distances to choose from 62 and 40.
?? Sun., April 14th, 2018, 10 a.m. – Wheel & Sprocket to Holland Postponed because winter won’t go away!

With the forecast for freezing rain and snow this weekend, Appleton’s Wheel & Sprocket is postponing their Spring Classic ride to Holland. It would not be safe to ride if the roads are as icy as predicted. Winter just won’t go away! Thanks to the weather, we have missed the first three rides. The organizers want to reschedule them though, so stay tuned for new dates, even if they have to be Fall Classics, we will ride!

This fun ride to Town of Holland, a nice little dairy community in the Fox Valley, leaves from Wheel & Sprocket’s Appleton store. The route is a relatively short and flat, leaving plenty of time to hang afterward at the shop. Le Prince French Crepes will be setup in the back of the shop parking lot for Tour of Flanders viewing and post ride food. 55 miles
