Job Description(s): Human Multi-tool
At the Bike Fed, we have a hand in all things cycling in Wisconsin. We help local advocates with local issues; teach thousands of adults and children bike safety; and we help promote hundreds of races, rides, events, and trails around the state. Oh yeah, we also organize our own rides and events, from fun rides like the Santa Cycle Rampage, to hard rides like the Ride Across Wisconsin to our important Wisconsin Bike Summit. It takes a staff with a wide range of skills, experiences and interests to keep our organization going, and WE NEED HELP!
If you love cycling and think the Bike Fed could benefit from your passion and skills, we encourage you to take a look at our a la carte menu below and create your own dream job. We need help with all of the things listed below, but we understand no one person is good at everything. Whether you are looking for a full-time job or just want to use your skills to help the Bike Fed a few hours a week, make us an offer!
Are you an educator with summers off who wants to work on our Polish Moon Ride and Ride Across Wisconsin? Let us know! Are you a student looking for a paid internship in design? Show us your portfolio! Retired and looking for a rewarding job teaching kids bike mechanics? Apply to work for our Mobile Bike Repair program! Have a marketing company and want to add the Bike Fed to your client list? Let us know what you can do for us.
We could create several part-time positions or a couple full-time spots. We won’t know until we see what you can do.
While the Bike Fed has full-time staff in La Crosse, Madison and Milwaukee, with modern communication channels, where you live is less important than how you can help.
